...actually got my account approved in less than 24 hours, which blew my expectations - I was braced for a week of emails and forms. The signup flow was simple and the booking button is right where you'd expect it; after nine years on the road it's nice not to wrestle with an app just to see loads. Four stars because I wish the initial filters were a bit smarter, but getting started was painless.

I liked the live tracking - when it actually updated. After nine years on the road I expect simple things to work; some days the map and carrier confirmations were spot on and saved me calls, other days tendering would hang or confirmations wouldn’t sync and I ended up waiting for a handoff that never came. Useful sometimes, flaky enough that I double-check everything.

Funny thing - after switching to FreightWise (they folded Kuebix into it at our company), it felt like two steps forward and one step back. The live tracking and ETA updates are better than what we had before, which actually makes dispatch calls easier on long Northeast runs. But the carrier tendering workflow is clumsy, lots more clicks to lock lanes, and billing summaries sometimes don't match PODs so I spent extra time on support calls. Genuinely torn: I appreciate the clearer visibility, but I miss the speed and simplicity of the old system.

I've used BrokerWare for about a year and a half. When a blizzard hit last March and phones were useless, the tracking and automated dispatch kept my loads rolling - ETAs updated, carriers got their paperwork, and I only had to step in once. After nine years on the road in the Northeast, I dock a point because billing syncs can lag on heavy nights, but it works when you actually need it.

I've used LoadPilot for about six months. I'm a company driver with nine years on the road, and it failed me when it mattered - the app wouldn't load my documents in a low-signal spot so I missed a pickup and lost about $300 in pay. When it finally reconnected it showed stale statuses or just froze, so I spent an afternoon on the phone instead of at the dock.

Bottom line: the Aljex mobile app actually keeps dispatch off my back. The photo POD upload is the real win - one snap and the proof shows up in the broker portal even when I’m stuck on patchy LTE, so I don’t get pestered for paperwork. Little things like big check-in buttons make life on Northeast runs way less annoying.

Had a weird billing glitch last week, and their support stayed on the phone with me until it was fixed. The rep pulled up my invoice, spotted a rate mix-up, corrected it on the spot and emailed the new copy before I left the yard. Saved me a headache and a likely late payment.

I've used ITS Dispatch for about nine months. Half the time the app won't load my active dispatch in the morning and once it froze while I was en route, which made me miss a pickup and cost me a day's pay. After nine years driving in the Northeast, I expect a TMS to work when I need it - this one just can't be relied on.

Last Tuesday at the Erie rest stop the app saved my evening when I finally got cell service and every photo I snapped while in a dead zone uploaded and auto‑tagged to the right loads without me doing a thing. That auto-photo sync is the one feature that actually makes life easier - no more texting PODs to dispatch or digging through emails. After nine years driving around the Northeast, little wins like that keep me on the road and out of the office.

Bottom line: their support actually fixed my IFTA mileage import while I was still on the phone - huge time saver. Guy walked me through the settings, corrected the CSV mess, and even sent screenshots so I wouldn't repeat the same mistake. Not perfect (the app can be a little clunky), but their people made the difference.

Thought the drag-and-drop dispatch board would save me time, but it kept reassigning loads to the wrong driver when I nudged the pickup window. After nine years running Northeast routes, having the mobile app fail to sync those changes meant two missed pickups and a $250 detention - spent an hour on the phone sorting somebody else's mess. Good idea on paper, terrible execution in practice; felt like we paid for convenience and got more headaches.
