Useful reviews help other drivers, carriers, and logistics professionals choose the right tools and services with confidence.
When can you write a review?
You can review a tool or service when you've had direct experience with it.
You use or have used the tool. For example, you use a load board to find freight, an ELD platform to manage compliance, or fleet software as part of your daily work.
You used the service. For example, you worked with a dispatch service, factoring company, compliance provider, or another logistics service listed on TruckMyApps.
You were involved in choosing or managing it for your business. You don't have to be the person clicking every button. If you selected the product, managed the account, worked with the provider, or were directly involved with the service, that's relevant experience too.
You stopped using it. A past experience still counts. You can explain why you stayed, switched, cancelled, or chose another option.
You don't need to have had a perfect experience or a terrible one. Useful reviews can be positive, negative, or somewhere in between.
When shouldn't you write a review?
There are a few situations where a review doesn't belong on TruckMyApps.
- You haven't actually used the tool or serviceDon't review a company because you've heard about it, researched it, seen its advertising, or have an opinion about the brand. Reviews should be based on direct experience.
- You were paid or rewarded for the reviewDon't post a review in exchange for money, discounts, credits, gifts, free services, or another incentive. The same applies to negative reviews: nobody should pay, reward, or pressure you to post one.
- You have a conflict of interestDon't review a company you own or work for, a product or service your company provides, a direct competitor, or a business on behalf of somebody else. If you have a commercial relationship that could affect your independence, don't use a customer review to promote or attack the business.
- You're reviewing something other than the product or serviceTruckMyApps isn't the place for disputes about someone's personality, employment issues, politics, or unrelated business matters. Keep the review about the tool or service you're rating.
What makes a useful review?
The most useful reviews explain what you used the tool or service for, what worked, what didn't, and whether you'd use it again.
You don't need to write an essay. A few specific details go a long way.
Example
We used this load board for our box trucks across the Midwest. Finding freight is easy and the app is quick, but the broker vetting could be better. Overall, it saves us time every week. I'd recommend it for smaller fleets.
What shouldn't I include?
Keep the review about your own experience, and leave out anything that isn't yours to publish.
- Someone else's personal details - names of individual employees, contract numbers, anything you would not put on a public page.
- Insults aimed at a person rather than a description of the product or service.
- Spam, advertising, and links posted for their own sake.
- A second review of the same tool from the same account. The site refuses these automatically; edit the review you already left instead.
Can I change my review later?
Yes. If your experience changes, you can edit your existing review or delete it. Each account can leave one review per tool or service.
What happens if a review breaks these guidelines?
Reviews that break these rules may be removed. If you see a review that you believe violates the guidelines, contact us through Help & FAQ and include a link to the review and an explanation of the issue. Companies cannot remove reviews simply because they are negative or because they disagree with them.
One simple rule
Write about something you actually used, and describe the experience you actually had. That's what makes TruckMyApps useful to the next person trying to decide.
