Last Tuesday one of their drivers called about a sudden bridge closure that forced a two-hour detour, and the Landstar agent rebooked the load and held the original pay - no fuss. Compared to the last broker I ran with, where we'd have drivers stuck and me on hold forever, their tracking and agent autonomy are actually refreshing; I'm a dispatcher running about 60 trucks in the Southeast and after nine years you notice the little things. Still, rates can be all over the place and their billing paperwork ate up more admin time than I'm used to, so I'm torn - great for messy reroutes, not my first choice when I'm needing steady margins.

Last Monday a priority pallet vanished from our manifest mid-route and the clock was burning. CEVA's online tracking pinpointed the truck, showed time-stamped photos and PODs, and we re-routed a local driver to grab it before the customer called - saved a big headache. I dispatch 60 trucks across the Southeast and after nine years in the biz I rarely see visibility this sharp; wish their billing portal was as slick, but for tracking they nailed it.

The one thing that sold me was their live tracking - ETAs actually matched what the drivers were seeing on the road. With our old 3PL we spent half the day chasing status updates and eating fines; switching to NFI cut that drama in half. I run a 60-truck fleet across the Southeast and after nine years of flaky partners, having reliable tracking and quick replies made dispatching feel normal again.

The onboarding was shockingly fast - one rep, two site visits, and our EDI was talking to our TMS in under a week. I’m a dispatcher with about 60 trucks in the Southeast and I braced for the usual headaches, but Penske’s point person kept chasing carriers and cleared exceptions before they hit my docket. Five stars for actually making startup simple.

...and the rep actually stayed on the line until the API synced back up. Had been pulling my hair over missing ETAs for half a day - Amber from tech walked me through a fix, escalated to engineering, and even sent status emails so I didn't have to chase. Not perfect (billing had a blip later), but that kind of follow-through saved a Friday and kept my 60 trucks across the Southeast moving.

The mobile app gets loads to my guys faster than anything else we've tried. I've been running a 60-truck fleet for nine years down in the Southeast, and the push alerts for new loads plus the one-tap accept cut the back-and-forth with drivers way down - big time saver on busy mornings. The map can lag sometimes and pricing isn't always the top dollar, but for daily hustle it shaves hours off my plate.

Last Tuesday the DSV tracker showed a shipment "arrived" and closed out the order while my driver was still sitting at the dock - no call, no note. I dispatch 60 trucks across the Southeast and after nine years you get picky about accuracy; their visibility tool usually spits out useful lane-level updates but that phantom delivery messed up my whole routing plan. The UI is tidy and when the statuses are correct it actually speeds things up, but those random stale or incorrect updates make me second-guess every alert.

Bottom line: getting started with FBA/MCF was fiddly but worth the hassle. Learning the packaging rules took some head-scratching, but their bulk label/manifest tool that prints everything in one go saved us a ton of time - that was the thing that actually made me happy. After a couple days of testing with our 60-truck dispatch in the Southeast we had a steady flow that didn’t bog down drivers, so I’ll give it four stars.

I've used CoyoteGO for about two years. For price it's usually fair - when you need a backhaul in the Southeast the posted rates feel honest, and the instant-book price sticking around (no nasty surprises) is what made me happy. I'm a dispatcher managing 60 trucks, so that predictability makes it worth it for us; I knocked off one star because a few lanes still underpay, but overall it pays the bills.
