Yesterday one of our drivers tried to scan a pallet at a shipper's dock and the Magaya mobile app froze - had to paper it and call the yard. After nine years running about 60 trucks in the Southeast, I do like that it pulls quote info into bookings so we’re not retyping everything and the automatic invoice reports actually save me time. But the app drops offline too often and simple tasks are buried under too many taps, so some days it speeds things up and other days it feels like extra work.

I've used CargoWise for four years. I'm a dispatcher for a 60-truck fleet in the Southeast, and when a customs hold threatened a load last month an agent who actually knew our account picked up, stayed on the line, and had us cleared in under an hour - that kind of real follow-through is why we stick with it. Only gripe is slower response late at night, but daytime support is solid, so I’m giving it four stars.

I've used it for about a year, and the mobile app is what keeps my day from going sideways. What made me happiest is the push alerts when drivers update ETAs - they pop up fast so I can reroute or call without digging through messages. The map can stutter when I jump between loads, but for a dispatcher running 60 trucks across the Southeast those quick ETA updates save me hours each week.

...and their support actually stayed on the line until our routing issue was fixed. I'm a dispatcher with about 60 trucks in the Southeast, and after nine years I can tell real help from canned responses - the engineer (shoutout to Daniel) not only fixed the backlog but sent a plain-English cheat sheet so my drivers wouldn't repeat the same mistake. Quick, patient, and they even called the next morning to make sure loads were flowing.

I've used Descartes for about a year. Getting started was surprisingly painless - their carrier onboarding tool and prebuilt EDI templates had our main partners live in under two weeks. With 60 trucks in the Southeast, that quick activation was the thing that made me happiest; I was scheduling real loads within days instead of waiting months.

After nine years dispatching a 60-truck fleet in the Southeast, the real win with SAP Transportation Management for me has been the route-optimization engine. It reroutes on the fly for traffic and hours-of-service, cut our deadhead noticeably and gives drivers much clearer run plans. Only gripe is the menu for adding custom constraints is a bit buried, but it still earns four stars from me.

On the first Monday after go-live a customer called frantic about a “lost” pickup - OTM showed it was never dispatched and we rerouted in under 30 minutes, calming everyone down. Getting started was way less painful than I braced for because their import wizard sucked in our mangled Excel rate sheets and auto-mapped lanes and carriers with almost zero hand-editing; that one feature saved us a week of headaches. I dispatch about 60 trucks in the Southeast and have nine years in the seat, so I’m giving it five stars for that quick win.

...the automated check-ins are the feature that actually saved my sanity. Running 60 trucks around the Southeast, those regular pings chopped down the 10–15 status calls I used to get every day and my phone stopped blowing up. Only reason it's a 4/5 is a few missed check-ins in low-signal spots, but when it's working it frees up so much time for the team.

During last month's downpour when a few towers went quiet, Detrack kept our trucks visible. I've got 60 trucks across the Southeast and nine years in dispatch - that steady GPS feed in low-signal spots is what made me stick with it. Proof capture stuttered once or twice, but if you want reliable live location when things go sideways, it delivers.

Been dispatching for a 60-truck fleet in the Southeast for nine years, and Track-POD finally fixed the constant 'where's my delivery' calls that used to eat my day. The photo-based proof and automatic customer notifications made me genuinely happy - what used to take three calls and a paper ticket now shows up as a timestamped photo and signature, so drivers stop chasing paperwork. We swapped out Excel and clipboards; setup took about a week but the drop in phone drama was immediate.
