Price was the dealbreaker for me - way overpriced for what you actually get. Paid a couple hundred bucks a month and still had an ETA miss that caused a day's detention and about $450 in fees; felt like I paid to be babysat by a dashboard that lagged. I'm an owner-operator in the Northeast with 7 years under my belt and this just wasnt worth it, def a waste.

I've been running my own truck 7 yrs in the Northeast, so timing matters; last week the ETA jumped back an hour for no reason and I missed a dock, cost me a $200 detentoin and a pissed off broker. Notifications are delayed and the thing burns my battery, had to go old school with paper when the app kept crashin.
Bottom line: pricey, but worth it if you care about real ETAs. I paid more than other trackers, but the predictive ETA alert once flagged a transfer delay and I avoided a $600 fee - definately paid for itself that month. After 7 years running in the Northeast I still gripe about subscriptions, but that one feature kept me from losing money so i'm happy.
Last Friday a pallet went MIA at the warehouse and my customer's delivery window was closing fast. I hit up OneRail support and Abby stayed on the line for 45 mins, pulled live tracking, re-routed the nearest courier and basically got it to the doorstep just in time - didnt expect that kind of hands-on help. After 7 years on the road their follow-through is why I stick with them, tho the UI can be a bit clunky at times.
Bottom line: their support team actually gets stuff done, which is the main reason I stick with MacroPoint. Had a load sit at a yard with zero updates and the rep picked up the phone, called the carrier, dug up the gate-hold reason and pushed an updated ETA to my phone in about 20 minutes - saved me a wasted trip and a headache; I'm an owner-operator in the Northeast so that human follow-up matters. The dashboard can be a bit clunky sometimes but support clears things up quick, definately a 4-star service for me.
Best part was how fast the onboading went - had basic routes and carriers loaded in under an hour, which honestly surprised me. Mapping my CSV fields took a few tries and the docs are kinda all over the place, but the live tracking matched my drivers in the Northeast so I could breathe easy. Saved me time, even if a couple setup bits felt fiddly and needed support.
Bottom line: the live-tracking map and ETA pings are the feature that actually made this worth using. I'm an owner-operator with seven years up in the Northeast and those realtime updates (and POD photos) cut down my check-calls big time, definatly saved me hours. Not flawless - every so often the GPS lags or a carrier forgets to update - but for the most part that tracking alone pays for itself.
Used it for about a year. The ETA-change feed is the feature that stood out - saved me from a costly detention once by catching a real shift in arrival, but it also spits out tiny 10–20 minute nudges non-stop and ends up creating more calls and confusion; helpful and annoying at the same time. I'm an owner-operator up in the Northeast with 7 years experience, and I keep going back because when that feed's right it's great, but it definately needs better filtering.
The first time I booked with them, I got an email saying my carrier profile was approved in under three hours. I run my own rig in the Northeast, seven years of this, and expected a week of back-and-forth paperwork instead it was click, upload, done; saved my whole day. Only hiccup was one field in their form kept rejectng my DOT number but dispatch fixed it quik.
Dispatch communication was the one thing that actually stood out, real people calling, text updates with ETAs and they rerouted me smoothly when traffic hit.
Owner-operator with seven years in the Northeast - got a midnight call about an oversize transformer that had to be in Newark by dawn. Logistics Plus grabbed the permits and an escort in a few hours, had the route mapped and paperwork in my hands so I could roll out without sitting on the dock all day; had me sweating but they pulled it off. Not cheap, but the single POC stayed on the phone and there was zero runaround - actually impressed, will use them agian.
Owner-operator in the Northeast, 7 years driving. The mobile app's live tracking map and quick one-tap load accept saved me a ton of back-and-forth - seeing exact ETA on pickups keeps me from sittin in the yard guessing. It can be crashy and sometims logs me out when I'm in the boonies, but for day-to-day use it's solid and makes dispatch stuff way easier.
