Last Tuesday my booked load vanished from the app two hours before pickup and the shipper's number showed “no longer in service.” I called Trucking42 and was on hold 30+ mins; email repsonse came back after 6 hours and when someone finally answered they fixed it but I still had to chase paperwork for a detention claim. I've been an owner-operator in the Northeast for 7 years - the board has decent loads and the interface is easy, but the flaky support makes me think twice about using them for tight windows.

I've used it for about 18 months. Before MercuryGate I was juggling Excel sheets and a cheap dispatch app, and the thing that actually made me happy was the route/rate optimizer - it started suggesting carrier combos that cut my deadhead and fuel spend pretty quick. I'm an owner-operator in the Northeast with seven years on the road, so I like that it just spits out better matches; interface gets clunky somtimes but it does the money-saving bit, so 4 stars.

Bottom line: the MercuryGate mobile app actually makes my life on the road easier. The one thing that made me happy was the photo/POD upload - snap a pic and it shows up in the office portal right away so I don't hafta text a dozen pics, huge time saver. UI gets wonky and it's laggy on my older phone sometimes, and the GPS has the occasional blip, but it does what I need most days so I'm sticking with it.

...and that photo upload saves my butt more times than I can count. The driver app snaps BOL/POD pics fast, tags them, and they pop into the office instatly so I get paid quiker - been an owner-operator 7 years in the Northeast and this actually cuts the usual headache in half. Occasionally the auto-tag wacks out and a pic gets misfiled, but support fixed it prety quick so still giving 4 stars.

I run a single truck out of Albany and have been doing this for seven years. What sold me was the mobile app's proof-of-delivery flow - snap a pic, get a signature and it's on the broker in seconds; saves me maybe 10 mins a stop and cuts down the calls. App is snappy most days, though the GPS laggs sometimes and it chews battery, but still worth it - 4/5 from me.

Was hoping the mobile app would save me time, but it keeps crashin on every load - GPS won't update so I had a dispatcher call me twice and I missed a tight pickup window. Been an owner-operator for 7 years out in the Northeast and that 45 minute delay cost me detention pay and pissed off the broker, lost a good lane. If you're on the road a lot the app is more trouble than it saves; constant re-logins and failed doc uploads made me switch back to paper for the day.

Used Geotab for 3 years. I'm an owner-operator with about 7 years on the road and the mobile app's quick last-trip summary and instant engine-code alerts shave off a ton of morning hassle - saves me like 10–15 mins per stop. Maps load fast and pulling up recent stops is dead simple, tho it can lag in real rural spots which is annoying when you're on a tight schedule.

…the app's ETA updates actually helped me plan drops without calling every customer. I've been an owner-operator for 7 years up here in the Northeast and when the live ETAs stay solid I can reshuffle stops on the fly - saves me like 10 min a day. Only complaint is the map laggs sometimes and buttons need a second tap, but the ETA stuff is worth it.

Yesterday a customer called fuming because their order showed "on the way" for 45 minutes - I pulled up Bringg and could see our driver stuck behind a detour and the ETA slipping in real time. I'm an owner-operator with 7 years in the Northeast and that live-tracking/ETA update saved the day; I messaged the cust with the new time and they chilled out. Only gripe is the mobile app can lag and the pin sometimes freezes for a minute, but overall 4 stars - def worth using.

Bottom line: worth it for the alerts, but it ain't cheap. I pay more than the free trackers, but that one realtime exception alert stopped a detention fee last month so it pretty much paid for itself - definately the thing that made me happy. For me, an owner-operator in the Northeast, the monthly cost can feel steep and the UI could use cleanup, but I kept it because I don't wanna miss those alerts.

The live temp alerts are what sold me - night and day compared to the old gps units that only showed where the trailer was. I've run my own truck for 7 years up in the Northeast and switching to OnAsset cut down the frenzied customer calls and last-minute reroutes; the dashboard makes it easy to spot a temp spike and act fast, definately saved me stress on a few loads. Only gripe is occasional battery warning when the device seems fine, but thats a small trade for the peace of mind.
