Bottom line: Hub Group's Hub Connect marked my pickup "complete" so the receiver released my trailer and the load vanished - I sat at the dock 8 hours, lost about $520 in detntion and missed a committed run. I've run my own truck in the Southeast 18 years and the disptach silence and endless holds meant I ate the fees; won't be chasin' loads with them again.

Beon's portal said pickup at 9am - truck sat idle till 3pm and they only paid a fraction of the detention, so I lost hours and fuel. For the access to carriers and realtime visibilty it's handy, but the rates and hidden fees make me wonder if I actually came out ahead; after 18 years runnig an owner-operator in the Southeast it's hit-or-miss and pricier than it's worth most weeks.

Took a load from Atlanta to Charlotte and halfway there Uber Freight rerouted it to Columbia with zero notice - I burned an extra 120 miles, missed the backhaul and the rate in the app dropped to about 30% less than promised. After 18 years running my own truck their visiblity was useless, cust svc ghosted me and the pay sat pendng for two weeks; cost me fuel, a motel night and a pissed off dispatcher.

...ran into them last week - two pallet shipments missed the retail cutoff, drivers sat 5 hours waiting for paperwork that never showed, cost me the slot and a $1,200 penalty. After 18 years on the road in the Southeast I've seen delays, but this no-ETA, no-reciepts nonsense and their weak excuses left me fixing their mess.

Last week a full pallet of frozen blueberries thawd to 40°F in their dock because the temp alerts never fired - lost a shipment worth thousands and had to burn a Saturday reroute. I'm an owner-operator in the Southeast with 18 yrs on the road and their automated temp notifications are junk: emails never came, the app showed green while product cooked, and they didnt answer my calls.

Paid DSV thinking their national network was worth the premium - turned out I overpaid for slow updates and surprise fees. The $650 in "surcharges" nuked my week's pay; owner-operator of 18 years in the Southeast and their cust sevice just shrugged me off.

Eighteen years running my own trucks in the Southeast and I've put Expeditors to the test - support is a mixed bag. When you hit a good rep they move fast and actually fix things, but too often tickets get hung in escalation limbo for days and the portal status is misleading; I'm torn between liking the handful of people who care and being annoyed at the sloooow follow-through.

Owner-operator, 18 years running trucks in the Southeast - had UPS Supply Chain Solutions move an ocean pallet that HAD to hit a store for Black Friday. They tracked it right and when customs held it their brokerage overnighted paperwork and we got it the next day, but the invoice doubeled with a phantom storage fee and support went slient for 48hrs; they finally fixed it after I yelled, so I'm torn - good recovery, bad surprises, won't forget the stress.

Been an owner-operator in the Southeast for 18 years, and we moved our e-comm fulfillment to GXO last winter. Robotics and their conveyor set-up crushed throughput compared to our old local 3PL, but recieving notices, weird chargebacks and a distant support team have made daily life more of a headache - faster, yes, but not necessarily better.

Used it for 5 years - their returns handling is a nightmare: items get marked “customer damaged” and disposed of with no photos or notif, then automatic refunds go out; I ate about $1,800 this quarter in lost stock and reimbursments. I'm an owner-operator (18yrs, Southeast) and small margins cant survive this kinda sloppy ops, support just punts and it's frustating.

Last Tuesday my LTL quote jumped $350 after pickup - FreightClub billed me for an accessorial that never showed on the screen and the consignee never got a tracking update, cost me a day and a pissed customer. After 18 years on the road the old broker/TMS I used gave final rates up front and way clearer tracking; this felt clunky, hid fees and added work, frustratring and not worth the switch.
