Eighteen years running my own trucks in the Southeast and I've put Expeditors to the test - support is a mixed bag. When you hit a good rep they move fast and actually fix things, but too often tickets get hung in escalation limbo for days and the portal status is misleading; I'm torn between liking the handful of people who care and being annoyed at the sloooow follow-through.
Bottom line: the mobile app actually keeps me in the loop so I don't get blindsided. The push notifcations for ETA changes are usually spot on and not noisy - that one-bit heads-up has saved me from sitting at docks for hours, I'm an owner-operator with 12 years on the road in the Midwest so those minutes matter. Also snaping and uploading a POd takes two taps which is clutch when its freezing and you got gloves on.
