During a surprise I-5 mudslide that shut the main route, Saddle Creek rerouted a holiday shipment overnight and the stores got stock on time. I run a one-truck owner-operator out of the PNW and them actually answred my 10pm freakout call and swapped carriers which saved a huge account. Not flawless - one pallet showed up scuffed - but the relability when it mattered made the difference.

Last month when a flatbed stalled in Tacoma and I thought we'd miss a store cutoff, CJ's portal showed the live truck location and pushed a new ETA in minutes. Used to be with my old outfit I'd be on the phone for an hour and still be guessing - this time I just screenshotted the map and the store thanked me for the heads up. Been hauling in the PNW eight years and that real-time map is the one thing that actually changed how I run my day, saved me time and a lot of dumb back-and-forth, definatly worth it.

Used Yusen for about three years hauling parts to and from the Port of Tacoma. I'm an owner-operator in the PNW and their volume discount and flat monthly rate on consolidated ocean freight saved me a ton - it smoothed cashflow for my small shop and felt worth the price. Invoicing can be slo and i've had to chase a couple small charges, but on balance the lower rates kept me signed up.

Push notifications for ETA are the best part of their app. I can be driving through the Cascades and still get a notce when the shipper moves a time - saves me a ton of back-and-forth. Photo POD uploads are stupid simple, snap and its sent; I'm an owner-operator in the PNW and those small bits shave real minutes off my day, app barely ever buts out.

switched to ITS for port drayage last winter and honestly didn't expect much, but their pickups actually show up when they say they will. That single change - reliable pickup windows - definately cut my wait times out here in the PNW and I burn way less deadhead miles. Used to sit waiting for hours with my last broker, this is night and day.

The price was the main thing I liked - cheaper than other expedited quotes and honestly felt worth every penny. I paid extra for a guaranteed window and, as an owner-operator in the Pacific Northwest hauling aerospace bits, that saved me a deadhead and kept the customer happy; definately covered the fee. Their PEAK tracking even let me plan fuel stops so it didnt feel like I was paying for blind luck, no ragrets.

Pays quickly, which I liked, but I got stuck because dispatch messed up a broker packet and left me parked in St. Louis for 48 hours. I'm an owner-operator out of the Pacific Northwest with eight years on the road and I've seen delays, but watching the truck sit while custemers sent angry texts and dispatch kept changing ETAs with no answers was brutal - they kept telling me to resubmit docs that were already resubmited, felt like they just passed me around. They did pay detention fast so cash was there, but the wasted miles and headache made me torn about running more with them.

…getting signed up with Capstone was weirdly painless; the onboarding rep actually answered my call and walked me through the driver portal in 20 mins. I sent my carrier packet that morning and it was aproved same-day so I could grab a noon run in the PNW - saved me a day of deadhead, honest. No drama, just got me moving.

When our pallet got held at LAX last Tuesday their rep Sara stayed on the phone with customs for over an hour until it cleared. That kind of follow-through - she even texted me updates every 20 mins - saved me and my driver from sitting around for two extra days. Super grateful, prices fair and the people were realy helpful.

Bottom line: Forward Air's customer support actually saved my day on a messed-up airport pickup. I had a garbled manifest and the rep (shout to Beth) stayed on the line with me and the airport agent for nearly an hour, calling back three times until they cleared the hold - I'm an owner-operator in the PNW and that one person not passing me between desks turned a possible detention into just a late coffee break. Only gripe is the app is flakey with ETA updates, hence 4/5.

Owner-operator, 8 years in the Pacific Northwest. Had a hazardous-chem load get flagged at Seattle for a missing EPA doc and was staring at a missed delivery window - PSA BDP's customs broker called, hunted down the correct file in their portal and pushed it through; container was relesed same day and honestly saved my butt. One rep stayed on the phone with me and kept sending updates until it cleared, simple thing but made a huge diffrence, thx.
