The live tracking on EchoShip is what sold me - seeing the trailer dot move on the map cut out half the phone tag. After 12 years running Midwest lanes I'm an owner-operator and that visibility actually meant fewer surprise pickups and less waiting around. Only knock is their ETA will sometimes jump 30-45 min with no updates, so woudl be nicer if that was tighter; still 4 stars cuz the map is legit.

Didn't think signing up would be this painless - their onboarding rep literally had my authority and fuel card processed in two days, no crazy back-and-forth. I'm an owner-operator in the Midwest with 12 years on the road, and that quick setup and a real human who anwswered the phone made me jump in. App has a small glitch here and there but havin steady freight 48 hours after signup is what mattered.

Last Tuesday I got a 'delivered' alert while my trailer was still at the consignee's dock - they had no idea and I sat there two hours. Support promised to escalate then ghosted me for 48hrs; cost me a $400 detention charge and a pissed custumer, and their canned emails were useless. After twelve years running my own truck in the Midwest I expect better communication than this but Beon's people dont answer when it matters, so nope for time-sensitive runs.

Bottom line: worth it - the up-front per-mile price made the call fast and I came out ahead. I run one truck in the Midwest and after 12 years I usually haggle, but seeing a live price and snapping the load without back-and-forth was the one thing that made me happy; plus the quick-pay option (yes it costs a bit) kept my bank acct from staring at me. App had a hiccup once but payed good and fast so definatley worth the fee.

I've used Lineage for three years. Their real-time temp alerts are the single thing that actually saved a trailer of ice cream last summer - got a 2am ping, pulled off the highway, swapped trailers and no claim, saved me a ton. As an owner-operator with 12 years under my belt I dont get surprised much, that alert system though was a real win.

They sent me to the wrong dock the first week I signed up - wrong BOL, truck sat for six houres while the rep "escalated" nothing. Onboarding was a nightmare: their portal kept timing out, i faxed the same insurance cert twice and customer support had me on hold so long I missed a delivery and paid about $350 in detention. I've been an owner-operator in the Midwest for 12 years and havent seen setup this clunky, wasted time and money, won't be rushing back.

Their TQL TRAX tracking saved my bacon when a load got sent to the wrong dock - saw the reroute on the app, called my rep and they turned it around in about an hour. After 12 years as an owner-operator in the Midwest I don't get impressed easy, but that live location saved me from sitting deadhead all night. App can be laggy and reps sometimes pass you around, but for that rescue they earned a 4 - suprised and glad I took the call, coulda been worse.

Yesterday at a busy DC the KN mobile app timed out and wouldn’t upload my POD so I had to email a pic and call ops - not fun. Been hauling 12 years in the Midwest and the web KN Login gives decent visibility but the app is clunky, crashin and laggs on my phone, yet every now and then it’ll show exactly what I need which makes me torn. Three stars because when it works it saves time, but half the time it feels like a gamble.

Bottom line: the mobile app actually keeps me in the loop so I don't get blindsided. The push notifcations for ETA changes are usually spot on and not noisy - that one-bit heads-up has saved me from sitting at docks for hours, I'm an owner-operator with 12 years on the road in the Midwest so those minutes matter. Also snaping and uploading a POd takes two taps which is clutch when its freezing and you got gloves on.

Bottom line: their customer support actually saved my week. We had a stuck ocean pallet and my usual carrier was ghosting me, but a UPS rep stayed on the phone with customs and the consolidation yard for over an hour and got it released to the dock. I’ve run trucks in the Midwest 12 years and you don’t see that kinda persistence much - wasn't perfect (a billing mixup cost us a day), but the rep's follow-through made the diference and I'm pretty satified.

Twelve years on the road in the Midwest and I still get picky about who I call when a pickup goes sideways. Called C.H. Robinson yesterday about a messed up load and the rep picked up fast, owned the problem and actually called me back with a fix in about 20 mins - that quick follow-up made my day. App can be a little laggy sometimes so not perfect, but the people on the other end know what they're doing, which matters.
