What I liked most was that onboarding actually moved fast - no months-long drag. The support team helped map our TMS fields and within a couple weeks it was pulling live runs from our 30-truck West Coast operation. Had to open a ticket for some funky data formats (that’s why I give 4 stars), but once live the system started cutting down manual firefighting overnight.

Bottom line: CargoWise cost me a full day's revenue and one furious customer. We had a manifest-sync glitch that duplicated a booking so two trucks sat idling at the dock while the actual load never made it onto the route - ended up with detention fees and a missed delivery window. I'm a dispatcher running about 30 trucks on the West Coast and support took six hours to respond while drivers waited; painful and avoidable.

I've used OpenText Business Network for about a year. The message tracking/EDI acknowledgement feature is a nightmare - confirmations either show delivered when shippers never saw them or arrive hours late, which cost my fleet of 30 trucks multiple missed pickups and two detention fees last month. Support replies were slow and the search tools make it a pain to untangle what went wrong, so I spend more time troubleshooting than actually dispatching.

When a reefer missed its delivery slot because the ETA stopped updating at 2 a.m., I cursed Infor out loud. I dispatch about 30 trucks on the West Coast and, to be fair, the planning dashboard usually gives a useful snapshot - but occasional sync lags turn that snapshot into a guessing game right when you need certainty. It's been helpful enough to keep using (it nailed forecasts a couple times), yet that overnight outage cost us a load and my customer's patience, so I'm torn.

I've used Infios for about a year. One afternoon their execution engine magically reassigned a load while my driver was an hour from delivery - wrong consignee, wrong dock - and we ate a four-hour detention, a $700 chargeback and a pissed-off customer while support took two full days to acknowledge it. I dispatch 30 trucks on the West Coast and that one bug cost more than the software itself and wrecked my driver's schedule for the week.

Last Wednesday the system auto-reassigned a loaded run to a detour that added 120 miles and we blew the delivery window. The route optimizer keeps overriding manual hard-stops and shoves drivers into longer deadhead runs - cost us fuel, a late fee, and a very unhappy customer. I'm a dispatcher managing about 30 trucks on the West Coast and after a year on this, the auto-routing feels more like a liability than a help.

The price is what killed it for me. We have 30 trucks and after dropping close to $2k up front for hardware and about $60 a month per truck, the subscription ate into our margins and the features never actually translated into cost savings - support was slow and footage gaps meant we still did a lot of manual follow-up. Not worth the stress or the bills; felt like paying for flashy extras that never paid back and getting trapped by a contract when we wanted out.

The photo-and-signature capture is great - it saved us when a customer disputed a pricey delivery. But last month a sync bug wiped out an entire day's confirmations; drivers swore they signed off, the app showed “pending,” and I spent the night on the phone with ops and the retailer while we recreated PODs by hand. I dispatch 30 trucks on the West Coast and after a year with Track-POD that mix of genuinely useful features and random, maddening outages leaves me torn - handy in crisis, frustrating when it fails, so we still keep paper backups.

Bottom line: the app wiped a full morning of routes and cost us a ton in refunds and overtime. Mid-shift my dispatch screen for one of our 30-truck fleet went blank right after an update, drivers showed deliveries as completed when they weren’t, and POD photos never uploaded - ended up coughing up about $1,200 and sending a spare truck out to fix it. Support basically told us to wait for a sync while angry customers called; zero confidence left.

...support never called back after the outage and left us blind for two hours. Had to tell drivers to sit at docks while customers fumed - I'm running 30 trucks on the West Coast and that delay meant overtime pay and one lost account. When someone finally picked up they just read from a script, closed the ticket, and offered no real escalation.
