I've been using J.B. Hunt for about 8 years. The J.B. Hunt 360° app will throw me solid loads fast - which I love - but the live-tracking/ETA is flaky and will drop pings right when shippers call, so I end up babysitting runs. Kinda torn cause the volume keeps me busy but the tracking glitches have cost me time and occasional detention, so 3/5, definately hit-or-miss.

Bottom line: GXO showed up when it mattered and kept my small operation from grinding to a halt during a surprise surge. The local account rep was the real win - one call and they rerouted a sort line to chew through a mountain of returns same-day, saved me detention fees and a whole bunch of headaches. Had a couple mis-scans and one late pickup, so not perfect, but theyre solid when shit gets real.
I've used it for about two years on JAS moves. The SmartHub mobile app gives me shipment visibility which is handy, but it's laggy, push notifcations are often late and uploads timeout so I end up reuploading pics or calling ops - after 8 years running the PNW I know cell sucks in spots, but other apps handle drops better. Torn about it: saved me a few headaches, but more often it's an extra step, so 3/5 from me.

Uber Freight TMS found a replacement carrier in under 20 minutes through the marketplace and auto-booked them, so the load stayed on schedule and I didn't have to call a dozen brokers. Not flawless but that quick save made me a convert, def the feature I care about most.
Bottom line: Freightview cut the time I spend booking freight in half. I used to juggle Excel sheets and non-stop calls to carriers, but seeing rates side-by-side and booking from one screen for my PNW runs is a massive time saver - realy makes life easier. What made me happiest was the rate-compare grid; one glance and I know who's cheapest and the ETA, no more scribbling numbers and screwing up the math.
The speed of finding a replacement truck when my carrier bailed the night before pickup is the main thing I love about Aljex. Had a hazmat load stuck in Tacoma - original carrier cancelled at 11pm, I tossed it into Aljex and within 20 mins a tender went out and a local guy accepted; I'm an owner-operator in the PNW with eight years on the road, and that saved me a $900 demurrage hit. Invoicing was painless too, didnt have to hunt anyone down - definately kept my week from going to hell.
Signed up thinking the load board sync would save me hours - huge mistake. Suport was slow and the 'fix' was to manually reasign loads every time, which defeats the whole point and left me cussing at my laptop, so yeah, 1 star.
Owner-operator in the Pacific Northwest with eight years on the road, I gave Transport Pro a shot to finally ditch my spreadsheets. Getting started was a mess - their CSV import mangled columns, the mapping UI is wonky and suppport took two days to respond so I had to re-enter 150 loads by hand and missed a paid run that cost me a full day's revenue. Frustating and clunky, saved the receipts for taxes but won't be sticking around after this cleanup.
...and when dispatch rerouted me at 2am in the PNW fog, ProTransport pushed the new pickup and the load doc's to my handhelld in under a minute so I didnt have to call and stall the yard. That quick live update saved me a late fee and a wasted deadhead, no support ticket needed - it just worked. Little things like that keep me using it even with the odd hiccup.
