...that photo upload on the mobile app - snap the POD, hit upload, invoice out before lunch. Been running three trucks in the PNW for 25 years; that one little thing cut days off getting paid and stopped drivers from pestering me about paperwork.

When my driver called at 2 a.m. to say the pickup address changed, ITS Dispatch let me edit the load, resend paperwork and invoice the spot rate before breakfast. Compared to the spreadsheets and paper I used for years (I've run three trucks in the PNW for 25 years), settlements are way cleaner, but the dispatch screen is clunky and slower than the old TMS I had - map redraws lag and reassigning runs takes extra clicks - so I'm torn: it solved my billing headache but sometimes costs me time on the road.

I've used Axon Software for two years - the subscription felt pricey at first, but the fuel-tracking spotted billing errors and underpaid fuel rebates that more than covered the cost within a few months. After 25 years running three trucks in the Pacific Northwest, that one feature alone makes it worth the price for my operation.

Didn't expect to have invoices going out by lunchtime with TruckingOffice - the CSV truck/load import and editable invoice templates got me billing without a headache. I run three trucks in the PNW, 25 years on the road, and that fast start was a pleasant surprise.

...got it running in an afternoon - no two-week training nonsense. After 25 years running three trucks in the Pacific Northwest, what made me happiest was the CSV import that mostly auto-matched my old load columns; only had to tweak driver IDs and I was assigning loads by dinner.

Bottom line: setup wasn't quick, but the onboarding rep who imported our historical loads and tailored route templates made the climb worth it. For a three-truck shop in the Pacific Northwest with 25 years on the road, that hands-on import and walkthrough got us dispatching and billing faster than I feared.

It actually worked when I needed it - pulled quote data into a booking and generated an invoice after a last-minute pickup so I didn’t have to retype half the load. Saved me a half-day and kept three trucks moving; after 25 years running routes in the Pacific Northwest, that kind of reliability matters.

Pricey upfront, but the invoicing and customs modules cut my paperwork time in half and the subscription basically paid for itself after three round trips. I'm an owner-operator with three trucks in the Pacific Northwest and that quick payback made the sticker shock vanish.
