Bottom line: Bringg just works when you need it most. The live-tracking stayed accurate on long desert runs - ETAs didn't jump all over the place like other apps, so I actually knew when to text customers instead of guessing. I'm an owner-operator with a year in the Southwest and that reliablity saved me a ton of headaches and late-night calls.
I've used it for about a year. Before OnAsset I was relying on cheap ping-only trackers that showed up hours late and I'd be calling carriers every trip; now the live updates actually tell me where a trailer is to the minute and that saved me from a nasty missed pickup last month. The temp alert - that one feature realy made me happy - went off and I rerouted quick, huge difference. Dashboard is way cleaner than my old spreadsheets, tho the map can lag sometimes, but it's still miles better.
Real-time ETAs actually landed close to when the truck showed up - huge difference from the old system of spreadsheets and endless calls. I used a cheap tracker before that lagged by hours and caused missed handoffs; Tive's live updates and quick alerts cut out most of the phone tag and reallly saved me time on runs down here in the Southwest. Still getting used to the dashboad but it's been solid.
Bottom line: it actually worked when I needed it - an alerst popped the moment my trailer got stuck at a weighstaion and I knew right away to call for help. The ETA updates were realtime and cut out the usual broker back-and-forth, so I could give a solid arrival time instead of guessing. Owner-operator out of the Southwest, one year on the road. What really stood out was the ETA predictions - some days they hit dead-on and save me from waiting around, other days the ETA jumps by hours and im rolling to a dock that already shut. Alerts are handy but get noisy, so im kinda torn; like the feature, hate the flakey timing.
Load got stuck at Laredo last month and the ETA kept sliding with no word. Blume's predictive alert popped up two hours before the carrier acknowleged the issue, and that heads-up let me call the receiver and rework the unload schedule - saved me like $300 in layover fees; I'm an owner-operator in the Southwest, 1 years in, so that kind of intel meant a lot. Been using it since, pings are solid and the map actually works when you need it.
Bottom line: not worth the price - paid about $200/month and it never paid for itself. The live ETAs look good but alerts were wrong or late alot, I still had to call carriers and waste time; after a year on the road in the Southwest with one truck that monthly hit cut my margins. Support was slow and cancelling was a pain, so it ended up costing me a few hundred bucks for very little gain, definately frustrated.
I've used Pando for about six months. At first I worried the monthly fee would eat my margins, but the carrier sourcing and rate checks shaved enough off my freight bill that it paid for itself in two months - definately worth the prce, honestly. The thing that made me happiest was the automatic nudge when a cheaper carrier popped up; saved me time and cash. 5/5
...support was helpful but maddening. First they push you through a bot and then a human who actually knows freight - once they escalated my case my stuck van got rebooked and the ETA adjusted, so props for that; but getting to that point took 2 days and a bunch of back-and-forth, which is rough when you're trying to hit an appointment. Midway through a cross-country hop my van was stuck, and for a guy who punches miles in the Southwest slow support is a real pain, so dont expect instant answers but if they do get on it they can fix stuff.
I've used Vizion for about six months. Before I was hopping between carrier portals and an ugly spreadsheet - upates always lagged and I missed a pickup that cost me time and a fee. Vizion's normalized ETA-change alerts are the one thing that actually works; they matched reality the last two runs and definately saved me a trip and a detention charge, which is a big deal out here in the Southwest running my own rig.
