What I liked most was the app's notifcations - actually tells me when a broker changes a rate or pickup time so I don't have to babysit my phone. Interface is simple so I can accept a load and message dispatch fast, but it does hiccup when I try to upload PODs and sometimes frezzes for a minute. Good support too, they fixed it same day.

Bottom line: the mobile app's push notifcations for nearby loads are the main reason I stick with Trucking42 - they got me paid when I was sitting empty at a rest stop, 4/5. I'm an owner-operator in the Southwest with about a year on the road and those pings actually brought decent quick runs; sometimes the map laggs and it takes an extra tap to book, but that one feature pays for itself. App could be smoother but day-to-day it does what I need.

I've used MercuryGate for about a year and the support is the main reason I stick with it. One rep (Luis) stayed on a call until a weird LTL routing bug was fixed and even sent screenshots the next morning - that follow-up actually saved me a late delivery, so big props for that. The platform can be clunky and buggy at times, but support usually answers fast and dont act like you're bothering them, so it evens out.

Disliked the buggy load reassignment that cost me a day. Tried to reassign a load last Tuesday and it vanished from the driver's app, the in-app chat showed messages sent but the driver never got them so he missed the pick up and I ate a detention fee - I'm a one-truck operator down in the Southwest and that was basically a day's pay gone. Support took forever and the supposed fix only synced things after houres, left me furious and not trusting this for time-sensitive runs.

...their support team actually picked up my call and stayed on the line until it was fixed. Had a weird ELD upload + billing mismatch and Maria jumped into a screenshare, found a tiny CSV column error in like 10 minutes, fixxed it for me and even emailed a screenshot guide so I won't do it wrong again. Super quick and friendly, thx.

Bottom line: the mobile app's photo POD/BOL upload alone saved me hourse every week. I run solo around the Southwest and being able to snap a pic, have it auto-tagged to the right load and pushed to dispatch/accounting while I'm still walking away from the truck is the best part - saved me from a billing fight last week. Only gripe is the gps somtimes jitters on rural roads, but it's minor and the app still gets the job done.

Bottom line: the mobile app's live map and quick location-share shave minutes off my day. I'm an owner-op down in the Southwest and the one feature that made me happy is how fast I can ping the truck and send an ETA to a customer - takes like 10 seconds, no calls. It somtimes laggs out in low-signal areas and the interface can get cluttered, but for day-to-day runs its been a huge help.

When I installed the tracker on a rainy Tuesday night after a long haul, it showed up on the app and started streaming my location in under 15 mins. I'm an owner-operator in the Southwest so doing it solo mattered; that plug-and-play setup was the thing that made me happiest, no tech guy needed and it synced real quick. Had one weird alert the first day but support sorted it quick, overall super easy to get started so far.

Day one after I got the unit I had to reroute around a washed-out stretch of highway and needed the truck's location on my phone, fast. Instal was stupid easy - the little OBD dongle snapped in, the app walked me through and I had live tracking in under 10 mins, plug n play for real. I run one truck out here in the Southwest and only a year into this gig, so not having to mess with wires or wait on tech support made me really happy, saved me a ton of headaches.

One year on the road as an owner-operator in the Southwest, I picked Azuga to keep track of my truck. Upfront price felt kinda steep for a one-man outfit but the fuel reports cut my fuel spend by roughly 7% in two months - paid for itself quicker than I expected. Dashboard's a bit clunky and support can be slow, but that fuel data made it def worth the cost to me.

...they had a rep jump into a remote session at 10pm and actually stayed on the line till the GPS was fixed, which was wild. I'm a small owner-operator down in the Southwest so that late-night save kept me on schedule and my head from spinning, wont forget it. Support was the one thing that made me stick with Verizon Connect - quick, human, and they folowed up the next morning, thx.

What I liked most was the near real-time GPS - it actually shows where the truck is now, not 10 minutes ago like my old unit did. My previous tracker would lag and drop signals through the canyons down here, made dispatch a guessing game; Geotab cut that guesswork and realli sped up my turnaround. Only gripe is the app can be a bit slow sometimes and the install definitately took longer than I wanted, but for the accuracy it's worth it.
