Worst part was the complete radio silence from Allen Lund dispatch when my reefer trailer started losing temperature on a load of fresh strawberries. I drive trucks on the West Coast and have three years experience - I called five times, showed them the temp alarm, and they rerouted me to a random lot instead of a service shop, so by the time anyone bothered to respond the receiver rejected the load. Lost pay, a $350 detention claim disappeared, and I sat watching fruit go bad while they argued with the consignee; never again.

...man, Forward Air actually gives you a real pick-up window instead of the usual “be there sometime” nonsense. After three years as a company driver on the West Coast, that one thing - the call ahead and solid appointment window - is night and day compared to the last carrier I ran with; no more sitting for hours watching pay drain.

...price seemed high at first, but the upfront, no-surprise pay made it worth booking. I've been driving company trucks three years and on West Coast runs you get nickeled-and-dimed too often, so seeing one clear final rate was a relief. That one thing - no last-minute cuts to the rate - kept me coming back.

Last Friday my intermodal load pinged three different ETAs in under an hour, so I ended up sitting at a dock two extra hours waiting for clearance. The live-tracking feed is great when it's right - saved me from deadheads before - but here it kept showing stale statuses and dispatch rolled with it like it was gospel. Been driving West Coast routes for three years, and that half-working visibility makes me honestly torn about using their logistics arm again.

Three years behind the wheel on the West Coast, I hit a nightmare detour after a bridge closure on a midnight run and thought my day was toast. Mode's dispatcher actually called me, updated the load in their app while I sat on the shoulder, rerouted me, and pushed for detention pay - that one person who solved the problem made all the difference. Invoice timing was a little slow afterward, but because of that quick save they get four stars from me.

…got my first load booked in under an hour because my onboarding rep actually picked up the phone and walked me through the portal. I've been driving three years on the West Coast and have seen plenty of clunky startups, so that quick screen-share and simple setup felt like a small miracle. No mountains of forms - just one helpful person and I was off.

Last spring I pulled into a dock and was told my pallet wasn’t on the manifest and they’d already started loading without me. One Penske planner jumped on the phone, pulled up their tracking screen, proved the pallet was on my truck, and got the dock to stop the conveyor - saved me hours of back-and-forth. I’m a company driver on the West Coast with three years under my belt; their people moving fast made the day, even if the app can be slow sometimes.

I've used Worldwide Express for three years, and one pickup still sticks with me. I'm a company driver on the West Coast - we scheduled an LTL late Friday, the app showed a driver assigned and even marked it "in transit" for hours while my pallet sat in the bay; by Monday it turned out the carrier never showed and support took forever to sort a re-route. Their tracking dashboard actually helps a lot, but the hit-or-miss carrier reliability makes using them feel like rolling the dice.
