I've used Onfleet Driver for three years and getting it up and running was more painful than I expected. The onboarding process forced us to manually re-enter dozens of addresses because the bulk CSV import corrupted fields, and provisioning our 20 drivers took longer than training them; ridiculous. Drivers sat idle waiting for activation texts that often never arrived, and support gave canned responses that didn't solve the address-parsing errors - we burned hours and paid overtime for missed windows. Once it's working, it's okay, but the ramp-up cost and the amount of hands-on troubleshooting made me regret the swap.

…finally got something that doesn't force drivers to wrestle with clumsy camera uploads. The mobile app's photo proof-of-delivery workflow is what sold me - one tap to capture, GPS baked into the file, and it sticks to the delivery record without extra futzing. On our 20-truck fleet in the Northeast we've seen fewer customer disputes because the images are clear and reliably geotagged even when crews are on spotty cellular. Not perfect - the map can redraw slowly sometimes and drivers complain about battery hit - but it honestly cut our back-office follow-up in half. Support jumped on a weird upload error quickly, which made the whole thing feel less risky to roll out.

Two weeks ago I grabbed a 350-mile dry van load posted at $1.85/mile and it actually paid that rate - no bait-and-switch. For the modest access fee I pay, that one load more than covered it and then some; felt like a real win. With twenty trucks in the Northeast, a reliable mid-to-high paying load like that actually moves our margins and makes planning easier. What made me happy was the clear pay breakdown shown before I accepted the run - I could see fuel and the broker cut and know exactly what hit the bank. Not perfect (some posts are stale), but on price alone it’s worth keeping around.

Bottom line: their customer support turned a rocky rollout into something our drivers actually trust. We hit a week where ETAs were off and sequence updates weren’t pushing to phones - with 20 trucks on the line it was chaos, so I opened a ticket late afternoon. Maya from support jumped on a screenshare, stayed on the line while we reproduced the GPS drift, tweaked geofence sensitivity and pushed a patch, and didn’t hang up until two drivers confirmed the corrected ETAs on their runs. She then followed up with clear notes and a short CSV workaround so we could ingest tricky time windows without waiting for a release. Still a few UI quirks to sort, but the fast, hands-on support made this worth the subscription.
