Bottom line: Kerry Logistics fell short of expectations and cost us real money in detention and driver hours. Their customs brokerage was delalyed on a couple of Asia–U.S. lanes - one load sat four days over paperwork issues that our previous, smaller broker cleared in about 24 hours - miscommuncation about ETAs meant drivers waited and we ate overtime and extra fuel. I've run a 15-truck fleet in the Southeast for five years, and their portal-only updates were outated and unhelpful compared to the old team's daily phone calls; frustrating and expensive.
