Finding freight with a newer MC is brutal. Everybody says “call us when your authority is 90 days” or 6 months or whatever their rule is. I found ExpeditedJobs while looking for companies that work with newer authorities. They connected me with someone willing to actually look at my setup instead of automatically saying no because of MC age. That alone saved me alot of time.

Super smooth DOT authority setup. I like that I could handle most of it online and just ping them when I hit a weird FMCSA question. Only nit is the terminology can get dense if you do not live in compliance stuff.
Not bad for compliance questions. I messaged about what credentials I needed and the answer was clear, but it felt a little generic at first. After a follow up, it made more sense.
Pretty helpful, not always consistent. I used them for permits and the first call was clear and direct. Later messages felt a bit rushed, like they were moving to the next thing.
Not great with follow ups. I emailed about a compliance filing question and got a generic reply that did not match what I asked. When I pushed for specifics, the response was slow and felt brushed off.
First truck, first authority, first time doing ANY of this. I had been watching YouTube videos for like 2 weeks and somehow knew less than when I started 😂 QuickStart gave me an actual list of what needed to happen and in what order. That was probably the most useful part for me.
Honestly pretty disappointing. I kept running into confusing numbers when I tried to match the fuel cost trends to what we expected, and it felt like I was second guessing the data. For something tied into telematics, I expected cleaner consistency.
Pretty disappointing alert accuracy. I set up real time notifications and kept getting pings that did not match what we saw later in the transaction details. I am comfortable with settings, but I could not make it consistent.
Honestly frustrating from day one. I tried to lock down purchase categories and it still let a charge through that I did not expect, which is a dealbreaker for me.
