Adella Labadie's review of TruckMate
Last Tuesday an invoicing bug duplicated a $3,200 load to a major broker and froze settlements for six days. We were already paying $1,000/month plus a one-time implementation charge of $7,500, and that week of frozen cash plus two staff overtime shifts to fix billing easily wiped out any projected ROI. I manage a 25-truck Midwest fleet and have four years running operations - so I can tell you when software drains cash instead of saving it. Support was slow and put some fixes on a “next sprint” while our drivers waited for clearance; the platform’s pricing model also tacked on per-settlement fees I hadn't been warned about. If your margins are tight like ours, this felt like an expensive experiment that cost us loads and trust - worth it? Not for this fleet.
