Adonis Kerluke's review of McLeod Software
I disliked the price - it felt like buying a luxury car for a station wagon. After eight years running a 75-truck fleet in the Pacific Northwest, the upfront license, integration fees, and annual support ate into margins and we saw little real return. Implementation dragged on for months, consultants billed hourly, and the custom tweaks that were supposed to fix routing added tens of thousands to the bill. Support was slow and often required extra payments for any real help, so we still relied on spreadsheets for priority lanes. Not worth it for a mid-sized regional carrier unless you have deep pockets and patience to wait years for payback.
