Margie Kovacek's review of Magaya

I've used Magaya for four years. The feature that pulls quote data into bookings and invoices repeatedly mis-mapped consignee names, rate lines, and GL codes, producing duplicate invoices and incorrect accounting entries that had to be manually fixed. With a 250-truck fleet in the Southwest those reconciliation hours turned into delayed payments, customer disputes, and real lost revenue; we eventually abandoned the automation because it cost us more than it saved.

Yesterday Magaya duplicated a booking into two invoices and my driver sat 3 hours at the yard because the system showed the load as unpaid - cost me about $420 in detention and a pissed-off broker. We run three trucks in the Southwest and after four years on a simple cloud TMS that never did this, switching to Magaya has only added admin and errors, it was supposed to pull quote info but it definatly mangled the invoice/reciept flow.

Bottom line: customer support is the weakest link - they take forever and mostly dont actually fix the problem. I'm an owner-operator in the Southwest and after about a year using Magaya a messed-up invoice caused a missed pickup and roughly $450 in fees; support took five days and a half dozen emails to 'escalate' it and it still came back wrong. Phone holds, canned replies, and tickets that just reopen burned time and money - honestly thinking of switching cause I can't trust them when a load is on the line.

…the mobile app actually saved my morning. The offline sync is the feature that sold it for me - drivers can take photos, capture signatures, and the app queues everything until there's a signal, then it pushes the data straight into the booking and invoice records so I stop retyping entries. What made me happiest was watching a handful of deliveries from dead-spot gravel roads show up perfectly in our inbox once the truck hit town. After seven years running logistics for a hundred-truck operation in the Pacific Northwest, that cut our morning scramble in half. UI hiccups on older phones keep this at 4 stars, but it's become part of our daily rhythm.
