Last Tuesday, when a shipper canceled a hot load an hour before pickup, MetroMax secured a backhaul at a better rate than our usual broker would have even offered. I run 15 trucks in the Southeast and after five years of switching between local brokers and DIY dispatch this was the first time a single rep actually pushed for the rate and handled the follow‑up so drivers didn't sit idle. They handled the calls and paperwork so we could keep rolling; quikly sorted the BOL and the driver was on his way.
