Vivian Raynor's review of Trucking42

I've used Trucking42 for eight months. One afternoon I posted last-minute refrigerated capacity and, within twenty minutes, a broker offered a backhaul with exact pickup coordinates and a confirmed rate, which allowed our driver to accept the load and avoid a costly deadhead. The fleet I manage - thirty trucks across the West Coast with ten years' experience - relied on that fast, clear matching; the precise contact details on the listing made coordination straightforward.

Ten years dispatching a 15-truck fleet across the Southwest taught me to hate endless hold music, so when Trucking42's live chat picked up in under five minutes I actually breathed. One rep even jumped on the phone with a broker to sort out a rate discrepancy on a booked load - saved us a deadhead and payday, so I'm sticking with them.

When a broker disputed an invoice and held two of my rigs up with paperwork on a Saturday afternoon, I called Trucking42 support expecting a long wait. To my surprise an agent picked up quickly, stayed on the line, and even set up a three-way with the broker so we could sort the issue in real time. That rapid escalation and the rep's practical knowledge of carrier-broker disputes is what made me happiest - it freed the trucks within an hour and likely saved us a day of downtime. The platform's load posting can be a little clunky when you're adding availability for many trucks at once, and alerts sometimes show up late. Still, for a Northeast fleet of 150 trucks that needs reliable back-office support, their customer service is worth the four stars.

...the equipment filter mislabeled dry-van loads as reefers repeatedly, so we dispatched a truck only to be turned away and billed detention when the shipper wouldnt accept the trailer. That mistake cost us a missed contract, roughly $900 in lost revenue and an extra 150 deadhead miles - with 15 trucks to manage I had to scedule swaps that disrupted two days of runs and we recieved angry drivers. The interface is easy to use, but inaccurate listings make it unusable for reliable planning.
