...that the app actually gets a GPS lock fast - like, within a few seconds - so I can check a load's location between stops without hunting for a laptop. I'm an owner-operator in the Pacific Northwest and that quick pinging has saved me from a couple of awkward calls when dispatch wanted an ETA. Map tiles sometimes stutter under heavy tree cover, but for daily runs the mobile experience is solid and easy to live with.

...for about $40 a truck a month plus a $150 install, the GPS would drop out in our yard and the 'driver score' nudges cost us time and even a missed load that wiped a few hundred off the day's pay - after 20 years driving company trucks in the Midwest, that stung. Not worth the money.

I've used Azuga for three years. Compared to the clunky GPS system we had before, Azuga's driver behavior scoring actually produced real changes - harsh braking incidents dropped from about 12 a month across the fleet to 4 in three months after we started using the coaching alerts. The single thing that made me happiest was those alerts: they gave me specific trips to review so conversations with drivers stopped being vague and started fixing behavior. Managing twenty trucks in the Northeast, that reduction translated to fewer roadside repairs and less time in the shop. Support has also been quick to help when a tracker drifts, so it's been a solid upgrade for our operations.
