...that the app actually gets a GPS lock fast - like, within a few seconds - so I can check a load's location between stops without hunting for a laptop. I'm an owner-operator in the Pacific Northwest and that quick pinging has saved me from a couple of awkward calls when dispatch wanted an ETA. Map tiles sometimes stutter under heavy tree cover, but for daily runs the mobile experience is solid and easy to live with.

...for about $40 a truck a month plus a $150 install, the GPS would drop out in our yard and the 'driver score' nudges cost us time and even a missed load that wiped a few hundred off the day's pay - after 20 years driving company trucks in the Midwest, that stung. Not worth the money.

I've used Azuga for 18 months. Getting started was surprisingly quick - their bulk activation portal let me register devices and push configurations to all units in an afternoon. With 85 trucks, what made me happiest was the batch-assign feature that pre-set geofences and driver profiles so our installers didn’t have to fiddle with every truck on site. The install kits were labeled, the wiring photos in the guide matched what our techs saw, and we had the first 20 trucks live by day two. Support was available when we needed it, but honestly that bulk provisioning is what turned onboarding from a month-long grind into a one-week push.
