...but their customs team is a different story. On a good week they’ll clear a messy multi-line ocean file faster than I expect and we dodge demurrage - once saved us a truck rotation and a headache. Then on other weeks a missed invoice upload or a tiny HTS misclassification will hold an entire lift, and after 28 years and running 150 trucks I can tell you those swings cost more than just time. The brokerage folks know their regs cold, yet the communication and follow-through feel scattershot; someone competent will fix it, but not before we’ve burned overtime. Mixed bag - capable in practice, frustrating in process.
