Adonis Kerluke's review of Kerry Logistics (KLN)
I've used Kerry Logistics for three years and the price erosion alone has me done. They quoted about $1,200 per 40' container for Asia–U.S. runs, then tacked on brokerage, documentation and “admin” fees until a routine shipment ballooned to nearly $2,000 - almost 60% over our budgeted cost. For a fleet of 75 trucks that translated to roughly an extra $6,000–$8,000 out of pocket every month, money that came straight off our margins and made some lanes unprofitable. When I pushed back, reps shrugged or sent form emails; disputing a single $350 demurrage charge took three weeks and got nowhere. Price-wise this wasn't worth it - moving our Asia-U.S. business elsewhere.
