Larissa Lemke's review of DHL Supply Chain (North America)
Fleet management for a 50-truck operation in the Northeast means my mornings are split between last-minute load swaps and reroutes because of weather. DHL's app does a decent job pushing those load assignments to drivers - the GPS handoff and signature capture are fast and the proof-of-delivery screen is straightforward, which drivers actually like. It does have maddening moments though: the app will freeze when signal drops, the barcode scanner misreads maybe one in ten pallets, and push notifications sometimes show up after the driver is already five miles down the road. I do appreciate the detailed data logs for billing; they save my office hours every week, but frequent UI changes break the shortcuts we depend on and that constant churn wears on the team. Short answer: usable, not reliable.
