Eino Hirthe's review of DHL Supply Chain (North America)
Getting started was a slog - lots of phone tag and paperwork before anything actually moved. I handle admin for about 100 trucks in the Pacific Northwest and have seven years in this field, so I expected bumps, but the EDI/WMS integration took far longer than quoted and our inventory counts didn't match up for weeks. Site inspections and safety audits were thorough, which I appreciated, but scheduling felt chaotic and we lost two weeks waiting for an on-site systems engineer. Once the connections were live the warehouse crew knew their stuff and the automation did speed up cross-dock flows, but that initial friction left a sour taste. If you need to flip a switch and run immediately, be warned - if you can tolerate a slow ramp-up, it can work out.
