Margie Kovacek's review of Ryder Supply Chain Solutions
During last November's inventory surge a mislabeled pallet from Ryder sat in a regional yard for three days and caused three missed hospital deliveries, forcing emergency overnight shipments on our end. Our previous regional carrier would have rerouted within hours and provided live updates; RyderShare alerts were late and their support desk bounced us between teams, resulting in over $12,000 in penalty fees and at least one major account downgrading service. In our 250-truck operation in the Southwest with fifteen years of experience this level of breakdown in last-mile accountability and communication is unacceptable - Ryder's scale did not replace the hands-on responsiveness we relied on before.
