Eino Hirthe's review of J.B. Hunt Transport Services
After seven years coordinating fleets in the Pacific Northwest, I signed us up to test J.B. Hunt for a few regional lanes. The 360 platform started strong - loads showed up fast and the visibility tools actually helped our dispatch - but getting there was a headache: carrier packets, repeated COI updates, and a couple of surprise hold requests while DOT numbers were reconciled dragged the onboarding out for weeks. Their onboarding reps were polite and detail-oriented, which I appreciated, but the back-and-forth and unclear timelines left trucks sitting empty more than once. Once everything was live it smoothed out and gave useful matches, so I'm left ambivalent: good tech and real opportunities, just more admin and patience required than I expected for a fleet of about 100 trucks.
