Larissa Lemke's review of EchoShip
Instant pricing is the feature that grabbed me first - and it's both a help and a headache. The quotes come back almost immediately, which is great when I need a quick number before calling a shipper, but too often the price is missing key accessorials or assumes an empty-mile that doesn't exist on our Boston-New Jersey runs. With 50 trucks and 18 years in this business I depend on predictability; a $450 quote that turns into a $650 tender after you hit book is more than a nuisance. Tendering digitally is nice in theory (I like that it pushes the load to carriers fast), yet we still get last-minute declines and have to scramble. I’m torn - EchoShip speeds up the front end, but I can’t trust those instant numbers as firm without double-checking every single time.
