During last Thursday's snow squall our refrigerated trailer got stuck on an alternate route and Manhattan's TMS pushed a live reroute that got us to the customer two hours earlier than expected. I dispatch ten trucks across the Northeast and that real-time reroute feature saved a load of medical samples - fast and clear in the app, though the interface can be a bit clunky when toggling maps.

I've used it for two years. Getting started was way easier than I expected - the onboarding rep walked us through the pre-built carrier connectors and APIs and had live lanes for our 50 trucks in under a week. A couple interface quirks pop up, but that fast carrier setup alone saved me a ton of headaches.

…but it sputtered when we needed it most during a surprise Nor'easter. The routing engine is clever and usually finds decent lanes, yet when our GPS feed went intermittent the platform stalled and several loads weren't reassigned automatically. I manage 50 trucks out of the Northeast and after 18 years you get pretty picky about reliability. Support did respond and we got manual workarounds, but the real fixes took days and a few drivers idled through tight appointment windows - time-sensitive runs felt the loss. Not perfect, not junk either; I keep it because it helps most days, and gnash my teeth the ones it doesn't.
