Emory Rolfson's review of The MetroMax Group
What sold me was the steady stream of useful loads - not flashy, just something I could count on week in and week out. Compared to our old broker who sent one-off low-pay gigs, MetroMax actually hunted down backhauls that matched our Pacific Northwest lanes, and that cut deadhead on our Seattle–Portland runs significantly. Their dispatchers are more hands-on than the last outfit we used; they negotiated better rates on a few priced lanes and pushed for quicker confirmations so drivers weren't sitting around. Not perfect - their portal is clunky and weekend replies are slow - but for a fleet of 85 that’s tried building in-house dispatch twice, the time and headaches saved are real. I’ll keep them on the roster and keep an eye on that tech side, but the difference in deadhead alone made switching worthwhile.
