Last Friday our driver hit a surprise bridge detour and missed the pickup window; MetroMax had a replacement load and a new route sorted in about 20 minutes. Compared to the brokers we used before who sent canned emails and left us on hold, these folks actually picked up and fixed it. I run roughly 60 trucks in the Southeast and after nine years of dealing with flaky dispatch shops, that quick live response is the one thing that made me stick with them - saved us a detention charge and a lot of headaches.
