Vivian Raynor's review of MaxTruckers

Ten years with a 30-truck fleet on the West Coast has taught me to value rapid, practical support. When a load confirmation vanished last month their chat team responded in under five minutes and stayed on the line until the broker reissued the paperwork, which kept a driver moving instead of parked for hours. The marketplace could use some UI polish, but their attentive customer service is the reason we continue to rely on MaxTruckers.

Bottom line: their support team is the main reason we keep MaxTruckers on rotation. I hit a problem one Friday where multiple lane posts disappeared and within 20 minutes a rep was on the line, triaging the issue and coordinating a hotfix with tech while we stayed connected - felt like someone actually cared. I run about 100 trucks in the Pacific Northwest, so lost visibility costs real money; that follow-through made a big difference. What really stuck with me was the next-day follow-up email with screenshots showing the fix and a quick double-check of our active posts. The interface still trips up on heavy filtering sometimes, so I dock one star, but support usually clears the mess fast.

The pay-rate filter actually works - finally stopped wasting hours on lowball loads. I run two trucks in the Southeast and after six years using DAT and Truckstop this has been the easiest way to find closer, better-paying runs and it cut my deadhead a lot some weeks.

After juggling a patchwork of broker calls for years, I tried MaxTruckers to fill a gap in my weekly lanes. I run about 85 trucks and have been doing this for sixteen years, so onboarding friction shows up fast. Signing up was quick - basic info and a few clicks - but getting verified was a pain: I uploaded insurance and authority docs and waited nearly three business days for approval while loads slipped away. Once cleared, the search interface was fine and I found a couple of decent lanes, yet posting our trucks felt sluggish and the truck-post form kept losing the equipment type; that was maddening when you have dispatchers on the clock. It's useful enough to keep around, but those early verification delays and the glitchy posting process keep it from being a reliable first stop.
