Two trucks, five years running routes across the Midwest. I signed up mostly to stop wasting time hunting loads, but what sold me was their fee - it's smaller than other dispatchers I tried, and within a couple weeks the extra take-home pay covered the cost. Price-wise it was worth it; I can keep driving and actually keep more of what I earn.
Last month one of our trucks blew a brake line in El Paso and Freight Girlz re-routed the load and negotiated with the broker to preserve our rate within 36 hours. Compared to the single in-house dispatcher we used before, their prompt direct broker calls meant I wasn't chasing emails all night - that immediacy saved us revenue. For a 35-truck fleet out of the Southwest that quick reponse and hands-on broker work matters; minor hiccups in their tracking portal and a few documenst delays keep me at 4/5.
Dispatching a 25-truck Midwest fleet for six years, I called FreightGirlz at 10pm when a pickup got canceled and they had a reroute and a replacement load locked in before my second cup of coffee - and they even squeezed a better rate out of the broker. Fast, human answers that actually made a rough night tolerable.
Used FreightGirlz for three months. Customer support was awful - they'd ghost me on weekends, sendin wrong BOLs and confirmations late so I missed a $750 run and ended up with a day of deadhead; broker calls went unanswered. I'm an owner-operator in the PNW with eight years under my belt, I don't need babysittin just someone to answer and fix rates quick. Wont use them again.
