All 25 reviews →I've used Teletrac Navman for one year. Hardware installation for my ten-truck fleet was straightforward and the live GPS data was reliable, but getting the dashboard and alerts configured to actually help our dispatch required multiple support calls and a lot of manual tweaking. It delivers useful insights once set up, yet the rocky onboarding left me unsure whether the long setup effort was fully justified.
Used it for eight months. Getting started was surprisingly quick - the tracker clicked into the OBD port on both trucks in under ten minutes and paired to my account with one confirmation text, which was the one thing that actually made onboarding painless even though the web dashboard took a bit longer to figure out.
Right when the GPS went dark on a Friday night I thought support would save me - nope. Spent two hours on hold, got bounced between scripted reps who told me to reboot a device that was physically smashed, and by the time a tech actually called back I’d lost a load and paid a couple hundred in detention and towing; for an owner-operator out here on the West Coast that kind of hit matters. The platform shows decent data when it works, but their customer service turned a roadside problem into an expensive multi-day headache.
