Bottom line: Azuga let us down when timing mattered. After nine years dispatching a 60-truck fleet in the Southeast, I watched the GPS sit on the last ping for 20–30 minutes during a regional storm and geofence alerts arrived so late we ate a $450 detention charge. Support was polite but slow, and "reboots fixed it" only until the next run - can't count on it for tight pickup windows.
...that the app actually gets a GPS lock fast - like, within a few seconds - so I can check a load's location between stops without hunting for a laptop. I'm an owner-operator in the Pacific Northwest and that quick pinging has saved me from a couple of awkward calls when dispatch wanted an ETA. Map tiles sometimes stutter under heavy tree cover, but for daily runs the mobile experience is solid and easy to live with.
...for about $40 a truck a month plus a $150 install, the GPS would drop out in our yard and the 'driver score' nudges cost us time and even a missed load that wiped a few hundred off the day's pay - after 20 years driving company trucks in the Midwest, that stung. Not worth the money.
