Last Tuesday my refrigerated trailer sat at the Port of Oakland with an exception flagged and no ETA updates - support took six hours to respond. I'm an owner-operator and after 20 years on the West Coast I appreciate that the agent was patient and actually walked me through where the data was coming from, but their “solution” was a temporary workaround and the alert never truly resolved. The platform can be useful for digging into a problem, yet inconsistent follow-through from support leaves me uneasy about trusting them on time-sensitive loads.

We switched from a simple in-house tracker that at least provided consistent ETAs, and Blume’s dashboards instead produced duplicate events and wildly fluctuating arrival times, which directly caused two missed bookings and a $12,000 detention bill last quarter. Customer support was slow to respond and the predictive alerts were more often false positives, leaving dispatchers chasing phantom exceptions instead of moving loads.
