When a key supplier's manfiest showed as 'on-time' in Coupa but our driver reported a 36-hour delay, dozens of loads were misrouted and we incurred hundreds in detention feees. Our previous logistics tracker - simple ETA and GPS alerts - flaged the discrepancy instantly; switching to Coupa traded that immediacy for a spend-centric dashboard that buries shipment signals in purchsing data, so we couldn't react. After five years running a 15-truck fleet in the Southeast this cost us real money and downtime; Coupa might be fine for finance teams, but for hands-on routing it fell short.

Saved us a week and a load of headaches. Coupa flagged a supplier invoice hold that would have left a load stuck for four days, I rerouted to a local source, avoided detention fees and kept the customer happy - I'm a two-truck owner-operator in the Southwest with 14 years on the road and that single alert paid for the subscription.

I've used it for about two years. The mobile app is slow to refresh GPS and often crashes during check-ins; push alerts come minutes late or not at all, which is brutal for someone dispatching 50 trucks with 12 years' experience in the Southeast and it cost us a missed Friday-night pickup. Lost driver hours and a detention fee last month - desktop may show everything but day-to-day on the road is unreliable, so we ended up rerouting by phone and paying extra.
