Used it for about a year and a half. The mobile app constantly lags and drops push updates - it kept showing a vessel on time while the carrier had already delayed arrival, so I missed a reload window and ended up paying a $450 detention fee plus a useless deadhead; total waste. I'm an owner-operator with two trucks in the Midwest and I rely on quick, accurate phone alerts, but having to refresh, force-close the app, or call the broker every time just defeats the whole purpose.

I've used ShipsGo for eight months; at first the subscription looked steep, but when their API started pushing real-time ETA shifts into our TMS for my 100-truck dispatch in the Northeast, it cut the frantic status calls that used to eat an hour a day. Pricey compared with free trackers, yes - but the labor it saved made it worth the spend for us.

Bottom line: getting started with ShipsGo was faster than I expected - I had live tracks up before lunch. The carrier-connect wizard auto-matched my container numbers and populated the live map in about twenty minutes, which honestly made my day. Only snag was one carrier needing extra auth, but support responded quickly and it was sorted by afternoon.
