Dispatching 60 trucks across the Southeast for nine years taught me to sniff out problems early. We moved to Coyote from a regional broker that ghosted updates, and what really sold me was their tracking - ETAs actually matched reality so I could plan loads without constant phone tag. Not perfect (pricing still bounces), but the saved headache on daily checks gets them four stars from me.

We run 15 trucks across the Southeast and have used Coyote for about five years, so their mobile app is a daily tool for dispatch and drivers. Half the time the real-time tracking and quick-accept features genuinely speed up day-to-day work, but the app also freezes during load acceptance, loses notifcations, and the UI makes small tasks annoyingly fiddly which costs us minutes that add up. I'm torn - when it behaves it's helpful, but the unpredictability makes me hesitate to rely on it completely.

I've used Coyote's mobile app for about four years. What sold me - and the feature that actually cut down my dispatchers' call load - is the live ETA updates and push alerts when a driver hits a geofence or marks a milestone; those automatic nudges mean we stop chasing trucks every hour. The interface can feel cluttered when you're juggling pickups on a tablet, and maps sometimes lag in the mountains here, but the core tracking feature works so reliably that it's become part of our daily routine. I run an 85-truck fleet and have 16 years in freight; the app doesn't solve everything but the real-time ETAs alone recovered hours we used to burn on status calls. Not perfect, but solid - the occasional sync hiccup doesn't outweigh the time saved.
