Larissa Lemke's review of Coyote Logistics
Their real-time tracking is what sold me, but a late reconsignment on a cross-border load nearly cost us a major retail drop. We had a refrigerated pallet leave Chicago with an ETA that would hit the morning window, and mid-transit Coyote reassigned carriers and changed the route with almost no notice. I run a 50-truck fleet in the Northeast and have 18 years in the business, so I know how tight those windows are; the tracking showed movement but the driver swaps introduced a five-hour undocumented delay. Support was polite but slow - they eventually took on part of the fee the customer charged, yet that back-and-forth ate our time and credibility. So yes, their visibility tools are useful, but this episode reminded me that being able to see a problem isn’t the same as preventing one.
