Samson Cartwright's review of Forward Air
Twenty years behind the wheel on the West Coast taught me to expect tight schedules and no surprises. One Forward Air run from Oakland to an inland DC was supposed to be a quick in-and-out, but their terminal never scanned the paperwork and the trailer sat for six hours. Dispatch was friendly but basically powerless; we finally moved it late and the consignee got everything fine, so credit where it's due. Still - I lost half a day's pay and some customer goodwill; they’re solid when it works, maddening when the small stuff falls apart.
