I've used Forward Air for about three years. Compared with the small regional carrier we relied on before, their scheduled airport connections and tighter transit windows often got critical shipments where my retail customers needed them, and with my 55-truck fleet in the Southeast that predictability helped our weekly routing and load planning. Yet the rigidity around cutoffs and occasional slow local dispatch created detention and re-consignment headaches the old carrier would have bent on, and while billing and claims are cleaner, I'm genuinely torn between the reliability and the lack of flexibility.
