Last Thursday, when a container stalled at the port and a driver was stuck for nearly two hours, the Flexport app pushed an updated ETA and a short note from the shipper - so I avoided a dozen phone calls and got dispatch to reroute the next pickup. What made me happiest was that single consolidated ETA alert: it shows the change, the reason, and a timestamp so my dispatcher doesn't have to chase multiple threads. I've managed a 20-truck fleet in the Northeast for three years, and those clear push updates cut our inbound calls dramatically and let us reassign runs faster. The only gripe is the app sometimes struggles uploading large POD photos over weak cellular, which adds a few minutes to the driver's workflow. Still, for everyday visibility and fewer frantic calls, it's a big help.
