Jalon King's review of Maersk
On November 9th a refrigerated shipment for a regional pharmacy sat at the Port of Savannah for 48 hours past scheduled pickup with no actionable update. Maersk's tracking showed stale location data and their servicce reps bounced us between teams with conflicting ETAs; we paid $1,200 in detention and had two pallets of temp-sensitive product spoiled, which cost the account. I manage 15 trucks in the Southeast and have five years experience; reliability mattered, and Maersk failed when it counted - unaceptable for any carrier we depend on.
