I've used Americold for about three years. Their operations desk is the real win - when a gate hold or POD paperwork threatens to eat my day, one quick call gets someone who actually fixes it instead of putting me on hold; that direct support has saved me hours more than once.

Had one of those days - woke to a hold notice on a load sitting in Americold's Atlanta hub and it pretty much wrecked my Saturday. I run my own rig up in the Northeast (7 years on the road) and that seven-hour wait - app said slot cleared, dock said nothing's ready, paperwork was a mess - cost me two other runs. They did credit some fees after I pushed and the temp logs showed the load stayed cold, so i'm torn: tech data helped but the on-the-ground communication was friggin awful, i'll use them again only with a backup plan.

During a holiday snowstorm my refrigerated pallet started creeping up in temp while I sat at a closed weigh station; Americold's app pinged me and their night crew pulled the pallet into their cooler and dropped the temp back down before anything spoiled. After nine years on the road, that's the first time a live temp alert actually saved a load for me. Not perfect - the handoff took a while - but their monitoring worked when it mattered, so 4/5.
